Grand Lido Braco Resort and Spa, a AAA 4 Diamond 5 Star SuperClubs Super- Inclusive Resort is nestled on the pristine north coast of Jamaica in the historic Parish of Trelawny. The resort will be a buzz of pulsating and fun-filled activities showcasing its annual signature calendar event, "Best of Jamaica", which runs from Wednesday, October 3rd to Sunday, October 7th, 2007. The theme this year is 'A Tradition of Excellence - The Journey Continues'.

This year's event has positioned itself to be the best social soiree of its kind in Jamaica and is in its fifth year. Indications are that it will surpass the successes of the past four years.

Best of Jamaica 2007 is a celebration and recognition of the diverse culture, food, heritage and good times associated with Jamaica. Event attendees will get a special insight on the uniqueness that still makes Jamaica and Grand Lido Braco Resort and Spa the preferred choice of visitors to the Caribbean.

Some of the events scheduled are:  Off-property excursions to learn the intricacies of cooking Chinese and Indian dishes, rum blending and sampling of local liquors and enjoying the sumptuous cuisine. Guests will also be able to identify unique Jamaican healing herbs and cooking condiments, learn about coffee production, learn the latest reggae dances, and learn the local dialect of Jamaican patois. These are just a few of the many activities associated with Best of Jamaica 2007. There is something for everyone in this cultural patchwork of diversity.

The resort will also host several parties, including the opening Beach Bash on the night of Wednesday, October 3rd. The event will feature some of the Jamaica's and the Caribbean's finest entertainers and music legends. A Grand Market on Saturday, October 6th, will highlight a wonderful selection of Jamaican art, craft, keepsakes, clothing and souvenirs.
