Honeymoon Cruises - We offer two options
A
15-minute transfer to the Sauípe River where your group will board a comfortable
24-passenger catamaran complete with padded benches and back supports. The
7-km journey to the mouth of the river passes through beautiful areas of coastal
rainforest vegetation and imposing mangroves. A specialized guide will provide
information about these ecosystems. Near the mouth of the river, there will be a
stop for a swim. The vegetation on the
riverbanks attracts a wide variety of birds, which gives
participants a chance to do a little bird watching. We offer: mineral water and life jackets. Bring with you: sun block, hat, light
clothing, and comfortable footwear.Available for $34.00 per person
At 9:00am we leave toward
Bahia Marina, considered the best in Brazil, where we’ll sail to Baia de Todos
os Santos with more than 50 islands scattered through it’s calm waters, fabulous
beaches and charming seaside villages. With music and bar service onboard we’ll
sail off to Mare Island or Itaparica (depending on weather and sea conditions)
where you can enjoy a dip in the sea for snorkeling before we return at dusk.
We offer: transfers, for snorkeling,
mineral water. Bring with you: sun block, bath clothes, hat or cap,

Snorkeling A 30-minute transfer to Praia do Forte for a
visit to the Tamar Sea Turtle Preservation Station and then a 20-minute walk
along the beach to the “Papa Gente” tide pools. Formed from coral reefs, these
3-meter deep pools are veritable natural aquariums where visitors can see many
species of fish, coral and crustaceans, etc. Masks and snorkels are provided.

Come dive in the Natural Rock Pools of Papa Gente formed at low
tide. A short walk from the beach and you will be diving amongst the unique
marine life in the region, including a selection of crustaceans, tropical fish and coral. Available to beginners, and certified divers. We offer: 2 dives, all equipment, transfers.

Transfer to Salvador. Available to certified diving and beginners, discover the
abundant marine life in the Bay of All Saints. You will see a wide variety of soft
coral, crustaceans, sponges and tropical fish. Also available to explore are of the best ship wrecks in Brazil. All dive destination are a short
ride on board a spacious and stable Catamaran. All trips include two dives,
drinks and refreshments. We offer: 2 dives, all equipment,

Tour of The City of Salvador
Leave the hotel accompanied by a guide. On the way stop at the Farol da Barra (Barra Lighthouse)
which offers a panoramic view of the
entrance to Baía de Todos os Santos. This lighthouse is built on the foundations
of a Portuguese fort that, in the16th century, defended the entrance to the
bay.
Continuing along the Vitoria Corridor is an avenue
with trees that are hundreds of years old that still shelter some imposingly large
houses.
Arriving in the historical section, we will stop at Praça Tomé de Souza. From the
look-out you can observe the lower city and port, the Mercado Modelo and the
Lacerda Elevator. Connecting the 2 parts of the city and allowing access to more
than 30,000 people a day, this elevator reaches a height of 72 meters. From this
point, the rest of the visit is on foot. Crossing Praça da Sé, a large plaza
recently redesigned, we arrive in Praça do Terreiro de Jesus, which is surrounded
by houses with colonial
façades. We will visit the Catedral Basílica, erected on
the site of an ancient 16th century chapel. We will also visit the Igreja de São Francisco
de Assis (1713), considered the best example of Portuguese baroque style and the
most magnificent in Brazil. This church is part of a group, which also comprises
a monastery, and the Igreja da Ordem Terceira de São Francisco (Church of the
Third Order of Saint Francis).
W will continue to discover the mysteries of the historic centre, walking on the
sloping streets. The coloured buildings from the 17th and 18th
centuries form an architectural group unique to the Americas, classified as
World Monument by Unesco.Stop for lunch at a chosen Restaurant.
After lunch leave in the direction of the suburbs of the lower city. The first
visit is made to the Igreja de Nosso Senhor do Bonfim (Church of our Lord of
Bonfim) Inaugurated in 1754, this church is one of the most popular in Brazil,
and certainly the most representative of blended religion constructed in the
country. Dedicated to Jesus Christ, the Igreja do Bonfim is also the locale for
a intense cult of Oxalá, supreme divinity of candomblé. It shelters an
interesting room of ex-votos. Situated on a hill, the church dominates the
Peninsula of Itapagipe. Continue the excursion with a stop at the Forte de Monte
Serrat. This military construction of 1587 combines medieval and colonial
architecture. The locale provides a panoramic view of “All Saints Bay”.
Crossing the suburbs that surround the bay we arrive at the heart of the
inner-city. There we find the greatest market of artisans in the city, the
famous Mercado Modelo that occupies the old installations of the custom house.
This market gathers all the art of Bahia and the Northeast. Free time for
shopping. Return to the hotel.
