Weddings - Quick Guide
To marry in Brazil each USA citizen not resident in Brazil will require the following documents that must be translated into Brazilian Portuguese by a sworn translator, and meet the following requirements:
AGE - over 21 years old SEX - The incumbents need to be of different sex as (Male & Female).
The bride and groom must be SINGLE, WIDOWED, OR DIVORCED.
Documents:
Birth certificate
Residence certificate
Single certificate or, death certificate (if widowed) or, divorce certificate.
Memorial: Information about the bride and groom and their parents (names and occupation) the couple needs to advise if they want to change the name of the bride.
All the documents need to be sent to the local Brazilian Embassy to be legalized.
After legalized, the documents are to be sent to SuperClubs Breezes Costa do Sauipe at least one month before the wedding
The couple needs to arrive to Breezes 5 days before the ceremony to sign the documents
The hotel will be responsible for the ceremony and the marriage certificate
Location
SuperClubs Breezes Costa do Sauípe is located 50 miles North from the city of Salvador in the State of Bahia, Brazil; and 1 hour from Salvador's International Airport- Luis Eduardo Magalhaes (SSA). Salvador is 2 hours by plane from Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

There is a Tour Desk in the Main Lobby that will make arrangements for Golf Trips, Cruises, Tours etc, (not included in the package).
